X-34 LandSpeeder - Completed

A 2,600 brick built model.

Measurements: 54cm x 40cm x 24cm or 21"x 15" x 9" (with stand).

Background: I started this design a couple of years back, but put it on the backburner and never got around to it till the last couple of months. I partly gave up on it as there was another model out by Aaron at that time.

I reached out to him some time last year, but never got around to working with his build.

But we did share some pics of our designs and you can see some similarities with his.

The Build: After completing the Ghost (16.5k+ bricks), I needed a break and did not build anything.

I only got back to it a month or so ago when my itch to design/build came back.

So this would be my first build since April.

Design wise it took me about a week. I revisited my old model, which was about 30% done, and reworked it.

I did some slight modifications from the digital design (as usual due to digital creations not always holding up well).

I also made use of some rubber bands for a frayed wired effect on one of the engines.

It is very 'swoosh-able', though I wouldn't try that again any time soon.

Am very proud of the fact that it is stable for a MOC this size.

With this, I present to you myUCS X-34 LandSpeeder.
